Senior Software Engineer Java → Kotlin

Your tasks

• Actively contribute to the design of the app architecture in alignment with the company’s CTO and software architects.
• Migration of the existing Java monolith backend to modular Kotlin components using Micronaut.
• Design, development, and maintenance of modular software components.
• Collaboration with international team (English speaking, German is an advantage).

• MySQL
• MS Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
• Windows environment (ISO Standard 27001)
• TDD and BDD approach, Unit Testing
• Git repository, IntelliJ
• Private Cloud

Your profile

• Successfully completed education in software development (HTL/UNI/FH).
• At least 3 years Java development experience and extensive experience with Microservice Containers.
• Ideally experience with Kotlin and Micronaut or willingness to work with and learn them.
• Agile software development according to Kanban.
• You are fluent in English and either speak German or are willing to learn it.
